No,  when you get notified of your cleaning day, simply leave the bin(s) out and we will clean them, and return them up to your garage. (Up to 100′)

The day of collection and the day after.

For simplicity of notifications and scheduling, all cleanings dates are posted in alignment with the collection day of the waste hauler. We clean as many bins as we can before dark and start bright and early so nearly all of our stops are completed before noon the day after collection.  

If you ever have issues, please let us know and we will be glad to talk with them.  Most of the time the HOA is very understanding.  After all, the HOA is the one requiring you to keep your stinky bins inside.  Sometimes we can even work out a discounted rate for your whole HOA.

There are two ways to find out:- Text alerts: We send a day-before text and or email reminder to leave your bins curbside after garbage pickup. When signing up make sure to select that you want to receive SMS text messages for this feature to work.

Or log into your account: when you log onto your Shiny Bins account, click on the sidebar on the “Subscription details” tab to see when your next cleaning is.

We service the majority of Douglas and Johnson County Kansas.  Olathe, Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, Mission, Shawnee, Lawrence, Stillwell, Eudora, and DeSoto.  We hope to expand to Missouri in the near future.

There are two different methods you can use to reschedule:

– Log into your account: On the left hand side of the account is a tab labeled “Availability Calendar”. When you click this, you will be able to select all dates that you are unavailable. Our system will automatically schedule your next visit beyond this date.

– Email us: If you are unable to log into your account, contact us by emailing kyle@getshinybins.com  OR you can call 913-777-4469

Its easy!  Log onto your Shiny Bins portal to find your unique code.  Simply share that wherever (Facebook, Instagram, written on a napkin), and with anyone you want.   When they sign up, the credits are automatically added to your account. No limit either!

Yes! Schools, Church groups, softball teams, community events, etc.

Just contact us and we can set it up for you.  Once we iron out a few details, you will receive a unit code to use for a set period of time.  At the end of the fundraiser, we will write your group a check.
